I had a GREAT stay for 3 nights at Visalam Chettinad Palace in Kanadukattan. the hotel was located within walking distance of Visalam, temples, wildlife, and a palace. the room was tidy with great bed and shower facilities, as well as a hairdryer in the bathroom.

The place was romantic, with its knowledgeable staff in overall service. The atmosphere created was charming! I found the hotel's location particularly good, near interesting Chettinad, an ancient palace of indian bargain busismen of the beginning of 20th century and a green garden.

it was a beautifully decorated place, had dedicated and extremely friendly staff in overall service. i truly enjoyed queen room with a large bathroom.

This place is great for short visits, with its convenient location just a 10-15 minute walk from St Paul's Church and close to the Sunday market.

the location is favourable and they have parking onsite. the hotel is set in a lovely area with views of garden. having a mini-bar, climate control and a personal safe in our neat room.

The breakfast with coffee or tea is delightful. Clean pool with a beautiful and absolutely perfect location in the Chettinad area of Southern India. Near to the garden, an ancient palace of Indian businessmen of the beginning of the 20th century and wildlife.

The queen suite is spacious with a big bathroom and complimentary tea and coffee provided.

This place is a fantastic choice for a one-night stay with great staff providing good service overall.

The restaurant here was lovely for breakfast and dinner. We tried some really tasty dishes. Having coffee/tea makers and nice glassware was a great touch! ☕.

The hotel was extra clean and the staff was amazing. They were knowledgeable about the heritage of the town and the palace. The location was great - with the option to take a break in Chettinadu and explore the sights. The service was outstanding - especially the hospitality and warmth of the staff.

Can't recommend highly enough.

Beautifully designed place with caring staff in overall service. Stunning location with a particularly nice view of the garden. Walking distance to the Sunday market and a market across the street. Great way to end our trip.

The restaurant here was lovely for breakfast and dining with tasty dishes, and the room had a spacious bathroom equipped with a shower, hair dryer, and bath sheets.

The accommodation at Visalam Chettinad Palace was huge and exceptional. the staff were caring, incredibly attentive and provided excellent service. the restaurant served terrific breakfast and I had excellent dishes during my dining experience there.
